Crack & Movement Surveys
Our Crack & Movement Surveys provide an independent assessment of cracking or suspected movement within a property. We examine the position, direction, width and pattern of the cracks, together with the age, construction and overall condition of the building, to establish the likely cause and significance of the defect.
Cracking can result from a range of issues, including thermal movement, settlement, shrinkage, failed lintels, alterations, drainage problems or structural movement.
Following the inspection, you will receive a clear written report explaining our findings, whether the cracking appears minor or requires further investigation, and the recommended next steps. A Crack & Movement Survey is ideal if you are purchasing a property, have noticed new or worsening cracks, require an independent opinion for an insurance claim, or simply want reassurance that any movement has been professionally assessed.
