No introduction to Western Cape would be complete without mentioning Lola and Milo, Regan’s two cavapoos and the firm’s Heads of Emotional Support & Wellbeing.
While not formally RICS-regulated (yet), both maintain a strict open-door policy for stress management, pre-survey encouragement, and post-report decompression. Their core responsibilities include:
They are particularly strong in stakeholder engagement, biscuit negotiation, and maintaining high team morale standards.
Although they have yet to complete any formal training, their commitment to workplace wellbeing remains unwavering. Lola specialises in client-facing charm, while Milo focuses more on sofa-based strategic oversight.
In all seriousness, they are very much part of the Western Cape family — reminding us that while construction and surveying demand professionalism and precision, balance matters too!
